Good morning!  It's been pretty busy around my house lately and my blog postings and crafting has taken a serious hit because of it.  So sorry I haven't been around, but I'm back and I  do have a fun challenge post for you today.  

It's  an Anything Goes challenge from Catch The Bug and I've  designed a cute birth announcement  card featuring Bugaboo Stamps Boo Peeker Carriage..  Check it out!

  I colored the image using PSE and Copics and kept it pretty simple.

Good morning and how are you doing?  We enjoyed our summer vacation at Catch The Bug but it's time to get back on track with a Freebie Friday image for you to grab.  Would you look at these cute little pea pod babies?!!!!   They are adorable and make  for a great We're Having Twins birth announcement so that's exactly what I did here.

I colored them using a combination of PSE 12 and Copics.  The sentiment was created using PSE.  The main panel with the image is just one layer.

Rock A Bye Baby

It's a baby blog hop surprise for Min!!!

Min is one of the coordinators for Catch The Bug and she puts in numerous hours helping our team to run smooth and she just happens to be pregnant with her first baby!!!  A baby girl as a matter of fact.  We thought it would be fun to surprise her with a BABY BLOG HOP before her little one arrives!

Here is the card I made for Min featuring Bugaboo Stamps Boo Peeker Bottle

I colored the image using PSE 12 and added some depth using Copic markers.  I thought it would be cute to make a baby head band and use it as an accent on the card.  It's been a while since I did any crocheting, but this was pretty simple and will be useful.

Min and Glenn, I just want to say a big congratulations to the both of you!  This is a joyous event in your lives.  Before you know it you'll be asking each other, "what did we do before we had kids?".  They are a gift from God and I know that you will be great parents.  Being the mom of three grown children, my motherly advice I want to share with you is, take the time to sit and rock that baby.  The dishes, laundry and everyday stuff will always be there waiting for you, but babies grow so fast and before you know it your looking back, wondering where the time went.  My dear friend gave me the same advice when I was starting out and boy was she right.

Hey Little Chick

We've almost completed our move to the new place and I've got most of the boxes unpacked.  Still have some cleaning to do and then I think I'm gonna sleep for a week.  Now, I haven't been all work no play though.  I did take some crafty time out to show you the cute Freebie Friday image you can grab this week from Bugaboo Stamps.

Too Cute Baby-Two Cute Babies

It's challenge time at Catch The Bug and it's Anything Goes!!!   I made this fun baby card using Bugaboo Stamps Peapod Babies Twin Girls!

I colored the image using Copic markers and then fussy cut it.  I also fussy cut the baby bottles from some designer paper.   Not to sure of the papers since most were from a paper swap.  The striped paper  and kraft card stock are from Recollections.  I used my heart border punch and spellbinders fancy tags die.

It's Oldie But Goodie Day. Baby

This sweet little baby will have you cooing with delight!  She's Pea Pod Baby Boo from Bugaboo Stamps!  She was the perfect addition to this baby card.

I printed her on white card stock and colored her using Prismacolor pencils.  I paired her with some fun designer paper from Nana's Nursery.  To finish it off I added a baker's twine bow, some buttons and a die cut sentiment.

Peek A Boo Sweet Baby Boo

Good morning!  Sorry I've been MIA!  I've been really tired lately and am just getting over some sort of bug I caught at work, but I'm back and just in time to show you this weeks Freebie Friday image from Bugaboo Stamps.  She's Boo Peek Moon and she's just adorable!

I colored her using Copic markers and glittered up the cloud and moon and placed her on a tag I had cut using my George cart and Cricut.  Designer papers are from my scrap pile cause I'm trying to whittle it down.  The border was made using my Martha Stewart Doily Lace Trim punch.  Just some ribbon and buttons to finish it off!

Baby mine, don't you cry -Bugaboo Stamps New Release

Baby mine, dry your eyes Rest your head close to my heart Never to part, baby of mine.  I just love that lullaby especially when Bette Midler sang it in the movie Beaches but what does that have to do with todays post?!!!

It's all about this weeks New Release from Bugaboo Stamps.  I imagine this sweet little baby drifting off to sleep while listening to that song.  Her name is Pea Pod Boo and she's super sweet!!!

I printed her on white card stock and colored her using copic markers.  Designer paper is from Nana's Nursery It's A Boy pack.  The ruffled borders were made using a doilie.  I just cut it in half, cut away the center and made 1/2 inch cuts every few inches along the cut edge (just like you do in  sewing).  Then just had to glue it to the edges of green card stock.

Sweet Angel Baby

Good morning and welcome to this weeks New Release from Bugaboo Stamps.  This week release will have you soaring above the clouds!  Jodie has added some new images to her Wee Ones  collection and are they ever cute, cute, cute, cute, cute?!!!  Here take a look!

Wee Ones Boy Angel

I printed the image on white card stock and colored it using a combination of copics and watercolor pencils.  The background is the part that I watercolored.  I even added some dotting to give it a little something extra.  Kind of like he's floating in a galaxy.  I chose to make this a baby card by adding some punched letters floating on a clouds.

Baby, baby, baby oh..............baby, baby , baby oh...... Bear With Me

No, I haven't lost my mind!  I'm not one of those crazed teenage Justin Bieber fans.  I was just having fun and thought it would make a funny segway in to this weeks Freebie Friday image from Bugaboo Stamps!  If you'll bear with me, you'll find a sweet deal in the end! 

Enough of the word play, wanna see this weeks Freebie Friday image?!!!  You're gonna love this baby!  (I just can't stop myself)

Bear Honey Stroller

I printed this little cutie on watercolor paper and colored it using watercolor pencils (Stampin Up).  I cut it out using Nestabilities Label Two die cut, cutting off part of the handle.  No problem, I just colored and cut the handle from the second image I printed and paper pieced it over the incomplete handle.  I wanted some striped paper to match my project but didn't have any so I created my own.  I marked even lines on watercolor paper using a sharpie marker and then watercolored it using my watercolor pencils.  The sentiment was die cut using my Welcome Baby die from Cuttlebug.

Today's the day for the big reveal at Shannon's Sentiments

It's finally here!  I know you're excited about it.  We've been teasing you long enough.  It's time for the big reveal from Shannon's Sentiments and our blog hop.  She's releasing five amazing sets as well as a six free images.  She will feature full set images and t-shirt images on her storefront blog. 

Now if you've just happened upon my site and want to play along you'll need to go back to the Storefront Blog  and start there.  If you came here from Michelle's blog then you're right on track.

I have a couple of cards to show you for today's release using Party Time and Shower Time.
 
This first one uses the balloons and one of the many sentiments from Party Time.  I kept it simple and fun.

 The balloons were colored with copic markers and cut out to be attached to this card.  The papers I used are turquoise and some fun designer paper from American Crafts Celebration pack.  I topped it off with the sentiment , cuttlebug embossing and some AC ribbon. 

For my next card, I used an image and sentiment from the Shower Time set.

I watercolored the blocks image and cut it out and place it on the scalloped circle.  The papers I used  were banana, blue  and designer paper from Nana's Nursery.  I used the same layout as my first card, just adding a few more extras like ribbon, a punched border and buttons.

Day Three of the reveal for Shannon's Sentiment. Oh baby!

It's the last day of previews for the "Shannon's Sentiments" release!!! It's a big reveal this month so we've been previewing the sets over 3 days. Today we're featuring "Hands of Time" and "Shower Time".

The full sets with a blog hop will be starting at 6am EST on Feb. 15th at the "Shannon's Sentiments" blog. We will also be hosting a chat at our SNR group page at 8pm EST on the 15th as well.

There are unique giveaways this month that I promise you won't want to miss out on.

Here is the card I made using the Umbrella image and one of the awesome sentiments from Shower Time.

I started out with an embossed 5 1/2 x 5 1/2  white card from DCWV.  I used the direct to paper technique to add color to the embossed area using gable green.

I picked up some cute and colorful American Crafts Celebration paper last week and thought it would be perfect  for this project.  I printed the umbrella on both white and dp and paper pieced the top of the umbrella and colored along the bottom of the umbrella.   Then covered it with glossy accents to give it a slick look.

Since I already had my mini monogram cart in my Cricut, I decided to make a few layered cuts with it.  All edges are sponged  with gable green.  To give it the finished touch I added some AC ribbon, cut out stars with buttons and a little doodling and I was done.
