Stitched Together With Love

I just love sewing images don't you?!!  They're so versatile.  All you have to do is pair them with a fun "sewing" sentiment and you can make a card for just about any occasion.  Today's Freebie Friday image from Bugaboo Stamps  is just such an image.  Sewing Mice Needle is the name and stitching fun cards is his game.  I went with a love theme for my card but the possibilities are endless!

I colored the image using copic markers and paired it with some more of the fun black & white designer paper from the paper studio.  Just a pop of red was added with Bazzill Basics paper.  Keeping with the sewing theme, I embossed faux stitching and buttons using my cuttlebug and border folders.  To finish it off I added some die cut hearts (george cart), stitched ribbon and a sentiment I created using print shop.

Oldie But Goodie-Bugaboo Stamps

I love penguins and I've had this little guy colored and in my stash for a while now just waiting to go on a card.  Since it's Oldie But Goodie day at Catch The Bug it was the perfect time to bring him out and put him to use!  He's such a cutie, I'm sure he'll melt you heart!  He'e Penguin Roses from Bugaboo Stamps!

I printed him on white card stock and colored him using copic markers.  I placed him on an embossed card base from DCWV.  For the heart and scalloped mat I pulled out my cricut and  george & mini monogram carts respectively.  The sentiment  is from Stampin Ups Love Ya (retired) set.

You're A Perfect Catch-Bugaboo's New Release

Good morning!  I have this song running through my head so I thought I might share it with you.  It goes a little bit like this: Take me out to the ball game, take me out to the park.....buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks......Why am I singing this to you, you say?!!!  Well, it's the perfect way to introduce one of the New Release images from Bugaboo Stamps!

BASEBALL CATCH



Isn't he cute?!!  He's all decked out in his Rangers colors to boot!  I colored him using Prismacolor Pencils.  I also used reinkers and a watercolor brush.  The baseballs were made using a circle punch and adding stitching.  I printed the sentiment using Print Shop!  This little guy is ready for love!!!
