That last one is the reason we are here.

It's time for an Anything Goes challenge and I have chosen to make a Father's Day card featufing Bugaboo Stamps Sunbonnet Fish 2.

I colored the image first using Photoshop Elements 12 and then added shading using a combination of Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils.

It's your turn to get crafty now!  I can't wait to see what you do!

Until next time, have a great day and thanks for stopping by!  TTFN

It's A Mans World-Catch The Bug

Good morning my blogging, crafty friends!  It's time for this weeks challenge at Catch The Bug!  Are you ready to get in touch with your masculine side?!  I mean your masculine side when it comes to making cards, that is!  We have the perfect challeng for you and just in time for Father's Day.

As you can see from the title of this post, "It's A Mans World", that's exactly what we're doing today.  Getting in touch with our masculine craftyness!  So break out those manly images and scale back on the ribbon and let's see what you come up with.  Here's what I did with the challenge:

Isn't he just the cutest cowboy you ever did see?!!  I colored him using copic markers.  The background was created using the faux wood technique found on Gina K's web tv.  I started with a pumpkin card stock and dragged it with a combination of white pigment, then brown and black dye ink.  Pretty cool looking if you ask me?!!  For the lariats, I braided some strands of raffia and then sewed them to the card.  The finishing touches were bandana designer paper I had in my stash, a blanket stitched oval and the sentiment I created using Print Shop.

Be sure to join us in this weeks challenge for your chance to win some free Bugaboo Stamps. Two images for third, four images for second and seven images for first but you must use a Bugaboo image to be eligible for first.

To get your creative juices flowing, check out the fabulous card designs that the team made for this challenge!

Until next time, have a great day and thanks for stopping by!  TTFN

Freebie Friday-Catch The Bug

So how many of you have been thinking, "I need to get started on my Father's Day cards"?!!  Well if this is you, you're gonna love this weeks Freebie Friday image from Bugaboo Stamps.  Especially if the man in your life is a golfer!  Let me show you what I mean.

I colored him using copic markers and kept the layout pretty simple and embellishment free with just a few brads. The sentiment is from All Year Cheer II from SU.  The embossed panel was made using my cuttlebug and Fiskars plate.

See!!!  I  told you you were gonna like it!  He looks like he's ready for a fun day out on the course!  So what are you waiting for?!! Head on over to Bugaboo and grab him for your very own!

Until next time, have a great day and thanks for stopping by!  TTFN

Hugs, Becky
