More Mindy's Zoo

Hi all! I'm sorry I haven't posted in the last couple of days. I haven't felt much like stamping. It's been kind of tense around here since Wedenesday when my husband was told that he might not have a job. Thank God they called him yesterday and told him they would be keeping him on. Whew! What a big relief that is.

With that behind us, last night and today I found my way into my stamp room and created some cards. Some were for design teams I'm on but some were just for fun. The one I have for you today was just that, for fun. I used the monkey's from Mindy's Zoo to create this cute card.

Welcome to Thursday morning and another fun sketch by the amazing Tamara! Here is this week's sketch.

I love my new Mindy's Zoo stamp set and the giraffe. I just can't seem to put him down.
I already had these papers out on my desk, so I thought, why not use them.
How do you like that whimsical little guy? He has both stripes and spots. I hope I didn't confuse him too much *giggle*.
The sentiment is from my Welcome Baby Cuttlebug die.
I also brought out the scallop square punches for this one cause they needed some lovin.
And of course, I had to add some buttons. They're my new thing! I just love the extra cuteness they add to a project.

Cuttlebug Be Inspired 19

Good morning folks! Welcome to this week's Cuttlebug Be Inpired challenge brought to by the fabulous design team on the Cuttlebug Challenges Blog. It's a fun one and I'm sure your gonna love it and want to give it a try.

We are embossing acetate this week. I love this technique and have loved it since the very first moment I put acetate in my embossing folder and ran it through my cuttlebug last year. I even had a few cards published in last years Spring edition of Take Ten featuring this technique. Hmmmm............... maybe that's why I love it so much!

Dear hubby gifted me with the Mindy's Zoo stamp set for Valentines Day, so I thought it was only appropriate that I use it on my card.

He also gifted me with the Welcome Baby Embossing Folder and Die Cut. I just love those cute little hearts

. Here is a closeup so you can get a better look.
I even embossed the giraffe after coloring him with my Copic markers. Isn't he cute? The papers are from Nana's Nursery It's A Boy. The back oval is recessed using dimentionals to make it look like a window. All the ovals were cut using my Coluzzle. The sentiment was made with the Welcome Baby die cut.
