Good morning and welcome to another Tiddly Inks creation. They are currently having a Design Team call and I was going to submit this stair step card to be considered, but my daughter said the red on the mushroom was throwing off the design, so I created another card instead. That's okay! This card will still be put to good use. I'm sending it to my sister. She recently lost someone very dear to her through heart disease and I thought this might lift her spirits.
I chose this image, Wrynn-Fairy Friends, because it's such a sweet image and I think she might put a smile on my sisters face.
I used a combination of Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils to color the image. I love combining coloring mediums, but there is one thing to remember when combining these two. You need to color with your Copics first, then your Prismacolors. You cannot color over the Prismcolors with the Copics. They are a wax base and will resist the ink.

I guess I'm not a great color designer because I see nothing wrong with the red. If it was neutral, then everything would blend together. I'm glad my friends just love whatever I send them....haha Good luck on the DT call and so sorry about your sister's lose...how sad. PS coloring is wonderful and thanks for tip on prismcolor and copic blending.
I love it, Becky! Good luck with that DT call. I was considering a go at it, too, but decided to keep my commitments to a minimum for a while.
