I had a few thank you cards left to make for some Christmas gifts I recieved and had colored this image over the break with that purpose intended, I just hadn't gotten around to adding him to a card. Flash forward to today and the challenge on Catch The Bug and it was the perfect combination.
The challenge was to make a card or project using a blue and white color combination. So I pulled out this image (Eggbert Winter), navy and white card stock and my winter matstack and away I went. This card took less than ten minutes to pull together and looks great. It's easy when the coloring is already done.
I didn't really have the sentiment I wanted for this one so I made my own using Print Shop. The font and size for the word Snow is different than the Thanks and Much because I wanted to emphasize it.
It's so hard to get a true color photo when photographing blues but I think I got it pretty close. Here's a closeup of the little guy.
Can you see the glistening snow? I used Glossy Accents and dazzling Diamond to get that effect.
I'm gonna get this posted and linked to the Catch The Bug blog and get back to creating. No school today so I've got the day off and plan on using every minute of it doing what it is I love to do. Woo Hoo!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! TTFN
Hugs, Becky
