Do you love butterflies as much as I do? If you do, you're gonna love today's post. It's very exciting!
Regina, the owner of
The Cutting Cafe, has designed the most amazing set called
"Social Butterflies" and today's card was made using it. What a fun set, so fun that I just couldn't wait to create with it. I still have a few card designs rolling around in my head so you'll be seeing butterflies alot in the next few weeks, but that's not the exciting news. What's exciting is that one of my lucky readers has the chance to win this set. Woo hoo!!! Here are the details for this card. I printed the image on
Kraft, Pink and DP and paper pieced the wing and flowers, adding
Glossy Accents on the flowers. The body of the butterfly was colored with a
brown Copic Marker. I paired the image with some
chocolate and white card stock and added the extras (
ribbon, brads, paper punched butterflies and sentiment circle). What a fun card to give to a friend or loved one.
I love the sentiment around the butterfly, don't you? One of the things I loved to do with my kiddos when they were little was to give and recieve butterfly kisses. We could entertain ourselves for what seemed like an eternity. That tickle from their lashes and the giggles that ensued are forever etched in my memory.
