Sketch #82

Good morning all!

Yeah! It's Thursday already! One more day and it's the weekend. I've always looked forward to weekends, but since I went back to work, I look forward to them so much more. You know, the whole sleeping in thing just appeals to this former night owl. Oh, and this weekend is even better cause we will be celebrating lovey dovey day. You know, the day we declare our love for that one special person, also known as Valentine's Day.

I'm so excited cause hubby and I have reservations at Fogo De Chao. We've never eaten there but we've heard it's delish. I know it smells yummy when we drive passed it. It's Brazilian grilled meats and the waiters just keep bringing you all you can eat.

It's kinda spendy but we were gifted with a gift card at Christmas and decided to save it for Valentines. I probably should wear my loose pants so I can eat without fear of flying buttons. LOL I'll let you know how it all turns later on in the week. It really wouldn't matter where we are going. Any chance to hang out with my best friend sans kids would be great.

In honor of Valentines I used this weeks sketch to create my last V-day card for 09. I went with somewhat non-traditional colors and it's oh so fun and cute. Here, see for yourself.

And here is sketch 82 for you to try.
There is absolutely no stamping on this card and it was super quick because everything with the exception of the butterfly was a punchout.

Still having a great time with my So so sweet Mat Pack. The punch outs are from a paper pack I picked up at Wally World. I like the contrast of these bright colors against the white swiss dotted background. Don't you?

Isn't that a great layout? Tamara does such a great job creating fun and different layouts week after week and I look forward to seeing what she comes up with.

The other thing I love to see is what the designers and our faithful Sketches followers do with the layout. You can check out there work on the Sketches blog. Remember if you do the sketch with us, be sure to post a link to it on the Sketches site. You could be our next featured guest. How cool is that?

Paper: White, So so sweet (the paper studio), Mat Pack from Walmart. Extras: Cuttlebug, Swiss Dots Folder, Scallop Square Punches, Threading Water Punch, Ribbon, Buttons.

Have a great Thursday and thanks for stopping by!
