I have a couple of cards to share with you today. The first one is the card that I took to the North Texas Swap. I fell in love with Boatloads of Love after seeing all the fun cards that Lori had made with it and then ordered it and let it set.....and set.......and set. Can you believe that? Poor little stamp set:(! When I was trying to decide on what to make I made up my mind that I was gonna show that set some love. This is what I came up with.

Recipe-Stamps: Boatloads of Love, Think Happy Thoughts. Paper: Bordering Blue, Brocade Blue, Pumpkin Pie, White (GP). Inks: Bordering Blue, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie. Accessories: Scallop Punches, Circle Punch, Cuttlebug and Circle EF, Cricut and George Cartridge, Pop dots, Slit Punch, Markers (Bordering, Brocade, Black, Pumpkin, Sahara Sand) Ribbon (American Crafts) Everything unless otherwise stated is Stampin Up.

I did direct to paper using pumpkin to make the circles more prominent.

The number five was cut using my cricut on the smallest setting.

The ship was stamped twice. Once on the main piece and once on scrap paper. I then colored and cut out just the bottom portion and popped it up.

I guess five was the magic number because I had a few of the ladies tell me that they now had a card for an upcoming birthday.

This next card is for last weeks sketch challenge over on Tamara's blog. I am in love with all the cute owl stamps that have been coming out, but hubby says "no more stamps til we get through graduation." Boo hoo, what's a girl to do? I want owls!! Do I sound like a whiney little kid?

This morning I got the bright idea to draw my own. I flipped the sketch on it's side and made little windows using my scallop square punches and drew the owls, peeking out of them.

Recipe-Stamps: No rubber was harmed in the making of this card. The Sentiment was computer generates. Paper: Kraft, White, Certainly Celery, Wild Asparagus DP (My Minds Eye). Inks: Certainly Celery. Accessories: Scallop Square Punches, Circle Punches, Scallop Circle Punch, Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots EF, Ribbon, Piercing Tool, Pop Dots, Markers( Choco Chip, Creamy Caramel, So Saffron, Sahara Sand, Pretty In Pink) White Gel Pen.

There are a couple of ladies I would like to send this to. They kept me laughing every time I stamped with them. Carole, Karen and Jessie this ones for you! Muah!

I am still working on the tute for the embellishment flowers. I hope to have it posted later today. Bear with me, my computer has been grumbling at me like a little old man today.

Have a tiggerific day and thanks for stopping by! TTFN
