Thank you Ann Marie

As some of you might already know. I belong to a great group of bloggers call SBS2(Sisterhood of the blogging sisters 2). We aren't the only SBS group. I'm not sure how many groups there are now, but basically, your group will consist of 30 crafters who share the same love for stamping that you do. I have had so much fun getting to know my blogging sisters and am so glad that I joined.

One of the many benefits that come with being part of a group are the image swaps. I am participating in my very first image swap and yesterday I recieved some really cute images from AnnMarie. How fun is this! I got those cute Happy Bees from Stampendous and couldn't wait to color the images. I used Tamara's sketch for the first card. I have to warn you! I am into bright colors this week.

That's Apricot Appeal card stock that I used. I'm trying to use up my scraps of DP so I'm unsure of the origins of it. That big purple flower was a silk flower that I dissassembled. The image was colored with my SU markers and the sentiment is SU's Sincere Salutations. I'm not sure you can see it in the pic, but there is stickles on the flower and the antanaes.

This next card, I made for my DH to take to work. One of the girls in the office will be changing jobs and they are having a send off for her tomorrow. I just had to another one of the bee images that I recieved in the swap.

This one uses Taken With Teal and Black card stock from SU. This is yet another scrap of DP that I pulled out of my drawer, but this one I know is from My Minds Eye because it hasn't been that long since I used it. The DP is cuttlebugged with the circles and flowers embossing folder and then highlighted with Taken with Teal ink pad using the direct to paper technique. The sentiment is from Sincere Salutations (SU). The photo corners were made using a square and scallop punch. I colored the image with my SU markers (I think I'm getting a little better coloring with them) and then added stickles to parts of it. Check out those dots along the border. I made those using a new pencil eraser. Fun huh?!!!

We have some nasty weather in the forecast for tonight. That's just Texas in April for you. I don't mind storms during the daytime, but I get a little freaked about the ones at night. I'm sure I'm not the only one, though. I'm outta here for now! Hope your having a great day! Thanks for stopping by! TTFN
