Bitten By The Bug in pink

Today was such a nice day! The weather was perfect and we just had such a relaxing day. I got to play around in my stamp room and made another card for the Bitten By The Bug contest. This one is a girl card and I think it's just the cutest thing evah!

I got the focal image idea from Lauren Meaders blog. She is an amazing crafter and I love her stuff and draw a lot of inspiration from her work. A while back she came up with these cute onesie cards using circle and scallop punches. I scaled mine down to fit on the front of the card by starting with a piece of pink card stock 2 1/2 x 3 3/4 inches and following her instructions.

This is the first circular card that I have made. I have to tell you, they are fun to make!

I used my Mini Monogram cartridge to make the scallop circles with the setting on 5 for the green layer and 5-real size for the white scallop, but if you think this is cute wait til you see the inside.
Check out the back view of the onesie. I added scallops on the bottom to make it look like ruffles. Whaddya think? Cute huh?

I am going to send this card to my sister for her daughter in law, who just found out that she is having a little girl. My sister has three boys and she is tickled pink that she is going to have a granddaughter to spoil.

Stamps used on this card were Cuddles and Tickles (SU) and Special Delivery (Studio G). Papers used were SU's gable green and pretty in pink and Georgia Pacific white. I used white pigment ink and white EP for all the stamped images. Accessories used were ribbon, primas, buttons and marker. Tools used were Cricut and George cartridge. Cuttlebug and swiss dot EF. Circle , scallop and ribbon punches.

Hope everyone had a great Easter! Thanks for stopping by to visit!

Becky I loved your boy card but this excels even that. I have the 'mini monograms' cartridge & never thought of any of this. You have definitely given me inspiration. I gotta try this. Well done. JC
