Altered Picture Frame

Good morning my blogging friends! Can you believe we have only 28 days left til Christmas. I am not even close to being ready for it. I'm never ready this early. I always think to myself, this year is the year that I get organized and have everything done and wrapped a ready to go, but the reality is I'm a procrastinator. This year is no different. I haven't even put up my tree yet. Anybody there with me?
I did get to chip away at my list today. I decided to make a present for someone this morning. Don't worry, she doesn't blog so it's safe to post it here. I used the card that I made for Sherry's challenge as inspiration. The only thing I changed was the sentiment and added a little more matting.

I printed the word Peace on printer paper and then glued DP over the top of it and then, flipping it over and holding it so the light would shine through and reveal the outline, I then cut out the letters. Pretty darned simple way to get some large designer letters when you don't have them already on hand.
I bought this frame at the dollar store this summer and it has just been sitting on my shelf waiting to be used. I stamped Snowflakes using White Stazon on the front of the glass for a little added dimention.
