Chipboard, flowers, and ribbons...... Oh My!

That's much better than lions, tigers and bears, don't you think?
My DD needed a birthday card for her friend who is turning 18 soon and I wanted to do something that an 18 year old would like. This is what I came up with.

I found these wonderful chipboard letters at Target in their $1 spot about a month ago and thought they would look really good with this funky DP from (the paper studio).
I had to make the card 4 1/4 x8 1/2 and offset the letters to accommodate them but it looks pretty cool anyway. I carried the polka dot theme into the ribbon and then added black brads to the flowers and scallop piece to tie in with the black dots on the ribbon. That second layer of ribbon is a yummy velvet olive ribbon that I picked up last week at Michael's. The big flower was made by punching, sponging and then embossing with UTEE and then layering with Primas. I have to say, I am really pleased with how this turned out and my DD loved it too. Mission accomplished! A card perfect for a girl reaching adulthood.
Since my post was so long and I already told you pretty much what I used, do you think I really need to put a recipe? I was just wondering what y'all think. Let me know and if consensus is that you want one I will go back and edit one in. Thanks!!!

Have a great day!
