Cranberry Dream

I hope that everyone is having a great weekend! I know that mine has been low key. Really nice after the last few weeks. Karissa got her car back yesterday so I have officially resigned the chauffeur position. Teenagers lead busy lives, too busy for me. Moms condition finally stabilized enough that she could be moved to a rehab facility. She'll be there for a little while til she gets mobile again or at least mobile enough that I can take care of her. Thanks to all of you who have been sending up prayers for her recovery.
I spent most of the day catching up on the things that I let fall by the wayside. Mostly laundry. Mounds and mounds of laundry. I have this theory that if you leave your laundry piled for too long that it will procreate like rabbits. At least it sure seems like it. In between loads today, I did pop into SCS to check out the VSN that they have going on. I did get to make a card earlier today and now I am going to share it with you. The challenge was to use lots of textures. I used my cuttlebug on just about every layer of this card. I used a layout that I had used about a week or two ago but changed a few of the elements. I'm very pleased with the way that it turned out. I used the new in colors from SU and I have to say. I love this color combo. I will definitely be using it again. What do you think?

Recipe
Stamps: Happy Harmony
Paper: Cranberry Crisp, Soft Sky, White
Inks: White Pigment Ink
Accessories: Ribbon, Slot Punch, Cuttlebug, Embossing Folders, Corner Punch, White EP, White Beads

Have a wonderful weekend!
