Christmas In July Day 6 Oldie But Goodie

  I hope you all are enjoying all the fun Christmas challenges!  I know I am enjoying all the fun projects you all have been busy creating! 

I bet you're wondering what we at Catch The Bug have up our sleeves for todays challenge?!!!  I'll give you a hint:  the lights on a Christmas tree do this and so did Rudolph's nose or snow sometimes does this when the sun hits it just right.  Think you have it figure out?!!  Don't worry, I won't keep you guessing!  The challenge is to add a little sparkle and shine to your projects! Here's my sparkly, shiny card featuring Bugaboo Stamps Poppi Xmas Snowballs

I colored Poppi using Copic markers.  I pulled out some burgundy and hunter green card stock and paired it with some plaid DP from Recollections.  I used my snowflakes embossing folder to give it some texture.  The die cuts I used were spellbinders Label One and Fancy Tags.  To give it that sparkle I added glossy accents on the snowy parts and punched snowflakes and then dusted them with Martha Stewart fine glitter.  I also added some gems to the centers of the snowflakes.  For the sentiment on the tag, I inked just a portion of my Christmas Squares (Stamp Happens) using a marker and then used my SU tag punch.  All it needed was a little highlighting done with my white prismacolor pencil and some ribbon!  This card is very sparkly!!!
