Where were you when the world stop turning....on that September day-A Bugaboo Special

I will never forget that day!  We lived in Washington state and I had just gotten my oldest daughter off to the bus and was preparing to wake my other two kids up for school.  My husband, Richard, had worked the night shift and wasn't home yet.  He called me from work and told me to turn on the television, that a plane had just flown into one of the twin towers.  He's a bit of a prankster and what he was telling me was so unbelievable, my response to him was "baby, that's not even funny".  He told me it was no joke and to turn on the television!  Oh my goodness!!!  I sat there in shock and horror as I watched the events of that day unfold.

By the time  Richard arrived home, the other plane had hit the second tower and it was apparent that this was a terrorist attack so  we went and picked our oldest up from school.  He and I wanted to have our family all together in case there were other attacks. The news agencies were saying that there were more planes flying around ready to do just that.  We lived near two damns and a nuclear power plant.  It was so scary!!!!  If either of those things had been attacked, we would have no place to go.so we wanted to at least be together.  I spent  the rest of the day watching and waiting, crying and praying and letting my family know that I loved them.  I will never forget that day!!!

To honor that day and all the people who perished, all the great acts of heroism and our  military women and men who are still fighting the fight, Jodie-the owner of Bugaboo Stamps, has created a beautiful image to share with us  and it's FREE!!!  Just click this link and download!

This is a side step with a topper card.  It's completed size is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2.  The image is printed on watercolor paper and colored with stampin up water based markers.  It's been punched out using an oval nestabilities.  The star border was created using my cricut and design studio.  The sentiment was created on my computer using print shop.

Until next time, have a great day and thanks for stopping by!  God bless you all!!!

Stamping Hugs,
Becky
