Shannon Sentiments Release Preview

It's time again for another "Shannon's Sentiments" release!!! It's a big reveal this month so we're previewing the sets over 3 days. Today we're featuring "Spring Time" and "Garden Time".

Today's preview is also being combined with our weekly challenge. Your hostess this week, Kapree, has challenged us to use 3 brads or eyelets on our cards.

The full sets with a blog hop will be starting at 6am EST on Feb. 15th at the "Shannon's Sentiments" blog. We will also be hosting a chat at our SNR group page at 8pm EST on the 15th as well.

There are unique giveaways this month that I promise you won't want to miss out on.

Here is my card for this weeks challenge:

I used the heart shaped flower from Garden Time to start with, printing it on watercolor paper and watercoloring the image with reinkers in olive and cranberry.  To give it a nice dewey look I topped the flowers with a little glossy accents.  For the sentiment I printed the Happiness Held sentiment from Spring Time on confetti paper.  I chose to add my brads to the ribbon treatment.  The extras as I call them here are embossing on the back panel, eyelet border and sponging.  The papers I used were confetti, black and cranberry card stock.
More inspiration from our design team to get your creative juices flowing for this challenge.

To play along, just add your link to the Mr. Linky widget on the sidebar for the February challenges. Mr. Linky will close for the month on Friday, Mar. 4th at 11:59pm EST.

The rules are the same as always.....

At the end of the month one $10 gift certificate to the Sentiments store will be given to one random winner picked from all participants each month. There will also be one free image ($3 value) given to the one player that participates the most each month.

1) You are encouraged to use an image from Shannon's Sentiments, but it's not required. (Check out the many freebies available at the store.)

2) Each player may contribute as many entries as they'd like for each challenge.

3) Blog posts must be linked back to the challenge post with your actual blog post, not your general blog link, or gallery link.

4) Your entry must be new art created for this challenge. You can combine it with other challenges.

Stop by again tomorrow for another set of previews!! TTFN
Hugs, Becky
