Cooking With Cricut Challenge #13

So are you sick of the cold weather yet and long for the sweet smell of spring? I thought so! That brings us to this weeks challenge at Cooking With Cricut. Flowers!!! Soon the cold days of winter will pass and the ground will warm and we'll begin to see the promise of spring in the form of flowers.
This weeks challenge was to use flowers on our projects. There had to be at least three of them.
I still had one of those cool trio frames left over so I decided to showcase my flower project in one of them.
I used the the rose digi image from scrapbookeden.com. I printed it on designer paper and green card stock. I paper pieced the leaves onto the flowers and did a little bit of watercoloring on the flower petals. I pulled out my Graphically Speaking cart to make the delicate border. All I had left to do was add some dainty lace and I was finished. This was a very quick and easy project and the results speak for themselves.
Be sure to hop on over to the Cooking With Cricut blog to see all the other lovely creations the design team has for you.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by! TTFN
Hugs, Becky
