Cooking With Cricut # 11 Snow Fun

Hello and welcome to today's Cooking With Cricut challenge. We have a snowy challenge for you today. Make anything that has to do with winter time outdoor activity. Snowmen, sledding, snowball fights, etc. It's your choice! I chose to do a scrapbook layout using two cute images from scrapbookeden.com. Check out that sledding snowman and polar bear! Too cute for words!

I printed them on white card stock and colored them using copics and also reinkers and a watercolor brush. I then pulled out my Graphically Speaking cart and cut out the BRRR and cold sentiment on white card stock and gray card stock. I also cut out snowflakes using the same cart. Instead of tossing the left over card stock, I chose to use it to add a little bit of layering along the side. To make the hill of snow for the sledding snowman, I tore pieces of white card stock, inked the torn edges and layered them up. The paper used on this project are designer paper from K& I, white, gray and eggplant card stock.

I hope you like that pages. It's been a while since I've scrapbooked and I'm a little rusty but I sure had fun and plan on doing more scrapbooking this year.

Be sure to pop on over to the Cooking With Cricut blog to see what the rest of the team has cooked up for you today. Have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by! TTFN

Hugs, Becky

This is such a beautiful layout, Becky! I also love that you used the negatives of the snowflakes -- I often forget that the negative can be just as beautiful as the cut.
