Happy Saturday to you all. I'm in a really good mood today cause I cleaned my stamp room yesterday and got to play around and create something.
While going through some of my stuff, I came across some pieces of designer paper and card stock that I had cut with my Cricut and hadn't used. For some reason or another, I just didn't like the way they looked on the project I cut them for, so I put them aside for later use.
Well, yesterday was the day I found a use for them and I like the results.
I can't decide what my favorite part is. I love this image (social butterflies) from The Cutting Cafe and I think it is gorgeous printed on the vellum, but I also love the ribbon treatment, don't you?
The pieces I already had cut out were the tag (george cart) and the marquee (storybook cart). All I did was cuttlebug (textiles folder) the marquee and then mat both the tag and marquee and layer them and add the image, ribbons, twine, and button with the sentiment circle.
As you can see from the closeup, I colored the leaves with a copic and then covered them with dazzling diamonds. You know me, I love my sparklies!
I'm headed home to watch a movie and get some more crafting done. Don't you just love Saturdays?
Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by! TTFN
Hugs, Becky
