Cuttlebug Be Inspired 20

Happy Wednesday and welcome to this week's Cuttlebug Be Inspired Challenge. This week it's a sketch challenge and we are so excited because it was created by the one and only Valerie Salmon. She has agreed to be our guest designer for this month. Color us lucky!

You can find the sketch on the Cuttlebug Challenges Blog along with the amazing creations the team has for you. Here is my interpretation of the sketch which I have to tell you, I love, love, love (the sketch that is)!

Stamps: Expressions. Papers: Nana's Nursery It's A Boy, White Textured. Inks: Brilliance Graphite Black. Extras: Cuttlebug, Welcome Baby Folder,Just My Type Folder, Cricut, Mini Monograms Cart, Threading Water Punch, Ribbon, Say It With Crystals, Black EP, Corner Punch.

I love this polka dotted paper from Nana's Nursery and thought it would look great paired with black accents. I like it, what do you think?

I have a bonus to add to this. I made a matching basket to go with the card.

Last night I was cleaning up my stamp room and got a little distracted because these papers were still sitting right there on my desk and they were screaming "play with me". What was I to do? I tried ignoring them but just like one of my kids, they only got louder. *Hee hee*

I caved in (just like I do with my kids, I'm such a pushover) and made this cute little weaved basket.

and filled it with Peppermint Patty flowers (no, not the one on Charlie Brown, the candies).

Here is a closeup of the flowers for you. The candy is sandwiched between two flowers and attached to skewers. Cute huh? Here is a picture of the happy couple together.
Sorry, I got a little distracted. Let me get back to what you came here for, the Cuttlebug Challenge.

We would love for you to do the sketch with us so be sure to visit the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog and check it out. You could be picked by Valerie Salmon herself as our card of the week and win a subscription to Got Sketch! Pretty cool stuff!

Be sure to stop by Saturday for a basket and flower tutorial!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by! TTFN
