Cuttlebug Be Inspired 18

Good morning! So glad you stopped by today! It's time for another Cuttlebug Be Inspired Challenge.

This weeks challenge is to make shaped cards. Any shape will do! There are so many ways to make shaped cards. You can use the cuttlebug and Nestabilities. You can use any template system like Fiskars or Coluzzle but my favorite to use it the Cricut. There are so many choices you can make with it.

I chose to use my Cricut and went with a Octagon shape. I don't have the software to link my two pieces so I just made a hinge on the inside and covered it with another piece of card stock.

Like I said the other day, I've been in the mood for spring so that's where I started. The flowers were cut with the Cricut and George Cart and embossed with the Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots Folder. The stems were also embossed with the Frills Border Folder. The DP is from Retro Prints Mat Pack(DCWV).

This is such a happy and fun card.

Paper: Chocolate Textured,Olive, Retro Print. Extras: Cricut & George Cart, Cuttlebug, Swiss Dots Folder, Frills Border Folder, Ribbon, Buttons, Border Punch(Martha Stewart).

We, at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog, would love for you to do the challenge with us. It's so much fun seeing the different cards and projects that you all create. If you do do the challenge, be sure to post a link to your card on the Cuttlebug Blog.

Be sure to stop by the Cuttlebug Challenges Blog to check out all the wonderful eye candy the team has in store for you.

Hugs and have a great day! TTFN

I love your happy card! The contrast and dimension are great. Also love your hinge idea but my fave elements are the flowers. Who would have thought of adding that brown circle in the middle?
