Should old aquaintance be forgot and never more to roam.....

Happy New Year and welcome to 2009. I hope everyone had fun celebrating the passing of 2008, we sure did.

While 2008 will be forever etched in my mind, I am more than happy to see it's passing and to embrace the wonders that 2009 has to bring us.

I have a few Christmas cards that I made left to show you and then I am moving onto other things. Yeah! I can hear you all cheering all the way from here. LOL

This first one I made using the wonderful gifts I recieved from Catherine. This was super easy to create because the DP already had the layout printed on it. All I did was add the stamped image and some embellies and it was done. Easy, peasy!

This next set was made for a gift exchange at work. The basket was filled with some yummy Key Lime Almond Bark candy that I made. That card is one of those pop up gift card holders they had featured in a challenge on SCS and was perfect for the Target card that I gave. My coworker loved it!

This last card was made using my wonderful Just Rite stamps that I recieved from my SBS2 sistah Alana right before Christmas. I had some red cellophane left over from my gift wrapping and thought it would be fun to try and stamp on it with my White Stazon. I really like the results and will have to remember to try this again. The wreath was made with my MS fern punch and red stickles.

Card #1
Stamps: Snowman (Stamerosity)
Paper: Cranberry, Winter Mat Pack (DCWV)
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black
Accessories: Snowflake Punch (Martha Stewart), Copic Markers, Stickles, Chipboard tag.

Card and basket #2
Stamps: Snowpeople Border (Hero Arts), Warm & Cold (Penny Black)
Paper: Ruby Red, Olive, White, Garden Green
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black
Accessories: Copics, Stickles, Snowflake and Fern Punch (Martha Stewart), Ribbon, Brads, Piercing Tool.

Card # 3
Stamps: Christmas Ensemble (Just Rite), Snowflakes (Stampin Up)
Paper: Real Red, White, Cellophane
Inks: White Stazon, White Pigment
Accessories: Fiskars Circle Template and Cutter, Cuttlebug and Snowflake EF, Ribbon, Fern Punch (Martha Stewart), Red Stickles.

That's it for Christmas. It is now put away until next year. I know you are as glad as I am to see it go. TTFN
