It's A Distressing Cuttlebug Challenge

Good morning stampers and cuttlebug lovers. Welcome to challenge 16 for the Cuttlebug Challenges Blog. This week's challenge is to distress your card. Tear it, distress edges, sponge it do whatever it takes to distress it. I did a little bit of each.

When I think of distressing for some reason I think masculine, so for this weeks Cuttlebug Challenge I chose to make a masculine card. This came suprisingly easy for me because I usually struggle with masculine cards.

I thought it would give it a more distressed look if I used the cracked glass technique over the main image. Mission accomplished.

Paper: Ruby Red, Kraft. Stamps: Seaside Sketches, All Occasions. Inks: Basic Brown, Olive, Versamark. Extras: Cuttlebug, Argyle & Spots and Dots folders, Copics,UTEE, Buttons, Twine, Corner Punch, Sponge.

The image is from a retired Stampin Up set called Seaside Sketches that I don't think I will ever part with. It is one of my all time faves for sure.
