Time to get back to blogging

Things are starting to settle down around here. All my family has gone home (the last one left today) and I started back to work this week. I'm still in a funk, but I finally felt like stamping again. Mom would be happy cause she loved to watch me stamp and create cards.

I was inspired by a trip to the LSS to get back in the swing of things. Nothing like a little retail therapy to get the creative juices flowing again.

I picked up a few new stamps and finally took the plunge and bought some Copic markers. I have to tell you, I am lovin them, but I still need to play around with them a little more to get the hang of them.

Here is a card I made for a friend who sends me cards all the time. I owe her one, or two or........all well, you get where I'm going with this.

Here is what I used.

I would like to say a big THANK YOU for all the cards and well wishes. I sure have appreciated each and every one of them. Hugs to you all.

TTFN!

welcome back.....glad you're getting your muse back! Have fun with the copics!

Pop on over to www.embellish-online.com and check out the Copic Forum....there is a poll there about setting a date to have a Copic chat with our Copic Rep! I'm sure we'll learn a lot!
If you do...tell them I sent you please!

YAY! I'm so happy that you're back to stamping. It's great therapy for sadness. I'm new to Copics too and finding that I need lots of colours to get the look, but I like colouring my image with something else first & then just deepening the colours with Copics. Watercolour pencilcrayons are my fave but it'd work with other things too. I love markers is a great blog for Copic tricks & our SBS sis Cathy has great pointers on her blog too. :O) Missed you! BIG hugs, :O) mel
