I came home today and made this card for layout #66, posted on CPS this week! Round cards used to scare me, but I am getting the hang of them. I just love the colors of this one. So bright and festive, don't you think? Just the way I feel today!
Recipe
Stamps: Sentiment (Studio G) Paper: Purely Pomegranate, Apricot Appeal, DP from My Minds Eye. Inks: Purely Pomegranate, Versamark. Accessories: Flowers, Ribbon,Brads, Buttons, Fiskars Circle Template and cutter, Cricut and Mini Monogram cartridge, Clear EP, Deco-edge scissors, Sponge Dauber.
Here are a few money saving tips for you. The flowers on this are from the dollar store. I buy silk flowers and take them apart. They have to be small enough for cards. Another tip that I learned from Laurie is that you can emboss in any color ink you have as long as you have versamark. You ink up your stamp with versamark and then ink it up with the color that you want it to be and stamp, then add clear ep and heat. Voila, an embossed image in whatever color ink pad you use.
