Let's make filled flowers.

Here it is as promised. First you'll need to gather the supplies you need. Here is what you'll need.
1. Flower pot.
2. 7 Wooden or chipboard flowers.
3. Three different designer papers.
4. 7 bamboo skewers.
5. 7 round wedding tins.
6. Floral tape.
7. 7-1 7/8 , 7-1 1/4 and 1 1/4 circle punches.
8.Various colored card stock.
9. Ribbon
10. Ink Pads to match card stock colors.
11.Brads
12.Red liner tape or Xyron and scoth tape.
13. Mod Podge.
14. Embellishements or candy or whatever you are going to fill yours with.
15. Glue Dots.

16. Foam mounting tape .
17. Floral styrofoam.

I don't have a picture of the decoupage process, but if you have any questions about the process just email me.

Once I had my flowers all covered and had sanded the edges, I started by cutting my DP 5x 4 1/2 inches and wrapping the candy as shown in the second picture and the ends
with scotch tape. Now twist the ends to be attached to the skewer.

Next, cut your bamboo skewer to the length that you want and then starting at the top, start wrapping the floral tape around the skewer. When you get about three inches wrapped add one of the candies. Wrap until paper is completely covered, making sure it is wrapped tightly. Now add the second candy on the opposite side and continue wrapping until the whole skewer is wrapped. Breaking off the end of the floral tape at the end.

Set aside, now it's time to decorate a wedding tin. Measure your top and bottom ribbons to wrap around the tin, slightly overlapping the end and cut. Measure your red liner tape to apply to ribbon or run your ribbon through the Xyron to apply adhesive. Carefully attach your ribbon to the top and bottom of your tin.
Next, open your tin and attach your 1 7/8 circle to the bottom of the tin with a glue dot.

You may or may not stamp the center of your flower at this point. If you do , stamp your sentiment and then punch out with 1 1/4 circle punch. Punch out scallop circle and attach 1 1/4 circle to scallop circle then add a brad to the center. Attach scallop center to one side of the decoupaged flower with mounting tape. Turn flower over and using nine small strips, build a slot for your skewer to sit in. Attach flower to the back of the wedding tin. You are now ready to fill your tin with whatever you want.

You'll notice in the picture, I filled mine with ribbon.
Now all you need to do is add floral styrofoam to your pot and arrange flowers as like them. I covered my styrofoam with paper shreds, but you can do whatever you want here. If you have any questions, just send me off an email. Enjoy!
