I used my cuttlebugged acetate technique that was showcased in the spring issue of Take Ten (shameless plug). I also tried Beate's scored grid technique for the black backround piece. I just love how this turned out.
Recipe
Stamps: Calla Lily (?) Small Script (Stampin Up) Floral Fantasy (Judikins). Paper: Acetate,Vanilla, Black, DP (My Minds Eye). Inks: Black Pigment, Black Stazon. Accessories: Ribbon, Scallop Circle Punch, Piercing Tool, Small Circle Scallop Punch, Brads, Cricut & George Cartridge, Cuttlebug & Floral Folder, Dimentionals.
I stamped the image on Acetate using Stazon. I also stamped the image on DP. I cut the flowers out and glued them to the back of the acetate using Scotch glue. I then stamped the background stamp on vanilla using pigment ink. Let that dry and then attached the stamped acetate to the stamped vanilla with Scotch glue. I then ran the entire piece through the cuttlebug. The corner accents were made by punching a scallop circle and then dividing it evenly into fours. Like I said before. I just love how this turned out. I am gonna give this to my daughter who graduates next week. Calla Lilies are her favorite flower.
This card is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2. I just love square cards , especially when the image is so large.
I'm gonna head back to my stamping room. There are a few more challenges I want to do and I have the time to do them. Don't you just love it when your stamping time and creative mojo coincide?
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by! TTFN
