Just a quick post and then I'm gonna try to get some sleep. I have been doing night shift at the hospital with my mom. I went to visit her Tuesday at the nursing home and she was burning up with fever. I told the nurse that she needed to go to the hospital because she has a compromised immune system. What a good call that was. It turns out she had pneumonia and her counts were down. The doctor started her on antibiotics and gave her two pints of blood and she is feeling much better. She will probably be discharged on Monday barring any unforseen circumstances. We are trying to get her transferred out of that home and into a better one. Keep your fingers crossed that it all works out for us. I'm just not comfortable sending her back where she was.

No stamping today. I do have some cards that I made earlier in the week to share with you all, but I haven't uploaded them to my computer yet.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by! TTFN

God Bless You, Becky, in this difficult time. I have a friend who has been through a similar experience with her mom, so I can imagine a little of what you are going through. Don't forget to take care of yourself while you try to take care of everyone else.
Love to you and your family during this difficult time.
Hugs,
Catherine

It's so good that you caught that. I hope that your mother continues to get better and that you find a much better place for her to be, one where she is well taken care of.

I got a big hug from my sister while in San Francisco seeing my mom (the card you sent Mom is hanging prominently on her bulletin board next to her bed. She LOVED it and thought you were extremely sweet to have sent it, as did I). I'm electronically sharing a big hug with you!
