Just another Mojo Monday....sketch that is

Hello my blogging friends! I'm so glad to be back! Whew! My brother and his wife and four kids spent the weekend with us and boy did we have fun. We went non stop the whole time. It was so nice to have them here and I so enjoyed the kids, especially the baby! He's all smiles and hardly ever cries! What a cutie!

I have so many things to tell y'all. First, I threw my lower back out while bowling on Sunday and today was the first day that I have been able to sit upright for any length of time. I hate to be down.....I just have too much to do during the day! Second, H and my hubby came down with some bug and have been down. H started feeling bad on Sunday and DH came home from work early on Monday. Third, we had accumulated snow last night in Texas! Something like 2 inches! Can you believe that? We hardly ever get snow and especially in March. Then last but not least I voted in the Primary today and signed up to be an alternate delegate for my party! Whoo hoo! History in the making here! I don't usually get very politically involved, but it's just so exciting that I can't help myself.

I did get the chance to blurf a little earlier today! I have a lot of commenting to do and hopefully I'll be able to get it all done by the weekend.

While I was looking though my google reader today, I came across Julee's Mojo Monday sketch challenge. She's giving away a stamp set of your choice to the winner! I so want to win one of her new sets that were just released because they are all so wonderful! Here is the card that I came up with for the challenge. I used some of my Studio G stamps and my swiss dot and frame cuttlebug folders for this one.

I was so excited to finally get my new embossing folders. I ordered them three weeks ago from Oh My Crafts! I got such a great deal on them and would have shared it with y'all but I had never ordered from them before and wanted to make sure that they were legit before passing their info onto anyone else. I mean, it's one thing if I think I'm getting a great deal and lose out, but it's something entirely different if I make a recommendation and my friends lose out because of it. It turns out that they are legit so that's why I'm passing this info on to y'all. They were a little slow in mailing, but the price was right. If you sign up on their mailing list, they'll send you a 15% off coupon and you can use it on your first order. I got eight embossing folders for under $30.00 with free shipping.

Since this is such a long post, I'm not going to add a recipe. The card is pretty self explanatory! If you have any questions feel free to send me an email. Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!
