Bitten By The Bug Challenge

Regina Easter has a wonderful site featuring Cricut cards called Bitten By The Bug! You should take the time to check it out! She features some really talented ladies and there's loads of inspiration to be found there. They are running a contest for this month and Peachy Keen Stamps has graciously offered the Paper Doll cartridge as the prize! What a deal! The deadline for entries is February 29th, 2008 by midnight PST. This time it is to make a card with spring colors.
This is one of my entries for the contest. I immediately thought of Easter and sat down with my Cricut and George cartridge to see what I could come up with.

The basket was made using the shape on pg 101 and the tag on pg.103. The eggs and chick were made using the oval shape from pg. 114 and the chicks wings were made by cutting the oval shape on pg.96 in half lengthwise.

I used my prismacolor pencils to draw in the detail on the basket. The DPs were all leftover scraps.

Stamps: Miracle Of Spring (SU)

Paper: Marigold Morning, Gable Green, Various DP's

Inks: Positively Pink

Accessories: Cricut, George cartridge, Cuttlebug, Flower EF, Ice Stickles, Prismacolors Pencils, Gamsol, Primas, Brads, Dimentionals, Markers, Ribbon
