What a weekend!

Wow! My weekend was very eventful! First let's start with Friday. I went to my mailbox and got the kind of mail that I LOOOOOVVVE to get. An RAK from Stacy, (twinshappy). Boy do I feel loved. I mean, look at the wonderful things that she sent.
There is card stock(the new in colors), yummy ribbon, paper primas (loads of them), scalloped squares and this totally beautiful card! Thank you Stacy! You made my day and you really did cheer me up!!!!

Moving on to Saturday! Guess what I got to do? I got to meet Suzy aka (s00zy66). She had a stamp camp at her house and me and my daughter Bree drove on out so that we could stamp with her. We made three terrific cards, had some yummy snacks, and got to meet a great group of fellow stampers. We had a great time and it was so nice to meet Suzy after having stalked with her for so long. She is so sweet and I can't wait to get together with her again. Here is a picture my dd took of the two of us!

I wish I could say that the fun continued into Sunday, but I can't. I spent the better part of Sunday at the Emergency Room. My moms blood pressure dropped and her Oncologist told me to take her in. It seems she was bleeding somewhere in her intestinal tract or stomach and that caused the drop in pressure. She had to be admitted and given two pints of blood. They are running all kinds of tests and we don't know exactly where she was bleeding yet, but she was more stable today and her blood counts are back in the good range! They will be keeping her for a few days and be running lots of tests. My brother also had surgery on his wrist today too! Luckily they were both in the same hospital! His surgery went well!
I have a few projects that I have been working on and I will post them as soon as I finish them and things settle down here. Have a great day and an even better week!!!!
