Weekend fun!
I spent most of the weekend hanging out with DH. It was so nice!!!! We didn't have to go anywhere or do anything! We just had fun spending time together. The kids were busy with friends and work, so it was just he and I for most of the weekend. Except for Sunday!
Sunday morning the kids all piled in on us in bed! That's kind of a tradition for us, but since DH has been working so much, it's been a while. It was so funny! For some reason, K****** thought it would be funny to name her dad's big toe and actually draw a face on it. R******, being the good sport that he is, allowed her too! She named his toe Toby, and we even took his picture! I laughed so hard that I almost peed myself. I'm gonna miss that girl and her silliness when she graduates and leaves home next year!!!! This is Toby!!!

It's Friday...it's Friday....Thank God it's Friday
I thought it would be kind of fun to add a Friday funny to my blog so here you go:
A six-year-old boy told his father he wanted to marry the little girl across the street. The father, being modern and well-schooled in handling children, hid his smile behind his hand.
"That's a serious step," he said. "Have you thought it out completely?"
"Yes," his young son answered. "We can spend one week in my room and the next in hers. It's right across the street, so I can run home if I get scared of the dark."
"How about transportation?" the father asked.
"I have my wagon, and we both have our tricycles," the little boy answered.
The boy had an answer to every question the father raised.
Finally, in exasperation, his dad asked, "What about babies? When you're married, you're liable to have babies, you know."
"We've thought about that, too," the little boy replied.
"We're not going to have babies. Every time she lays an egg, I'm going to step on it!"
There you have it! Cute huh? I'm sure glad I don't have to have my eggs stepped on!!!!
Now on to stamping! The limited supply challenge was to use flowers and only two embellishments. You could use as many punches as you wanted and that is how I got my fix. LOL!
I had these really nice paper lace doilies and decided to use one behind my main flower. I punched the flowers using various punches and DP(not sure where it was from because I used scraps). I chose Barely Banana For my main color because it went so well with the DP. Just one layer today. Still trying to keep it simple. The ribbon is from RibbonFX. I picked it up 50% off at Hobby Lobby yesterday! Isn't it sweet? I used gems for the flower centers just to give it some bling and added piercing along the bottom and around the main flower and lace doily. Sentiment is from Curvy Verses. This is how it turned out. I like it! How bout you?

Stamps: Curvy Verses
Paper: Barely Banana, Pretty In Pink, DP
Inks: Regal Rose
Accessories: Gems, Flower Punches, Piercing Tool, Doily, Ribbon
Tomorrow I will be scrapbooking, so I hope I have something cool to share with you. Have a great weekend!!!!

Funnies!
I came across this joke tonight while I was surfing the net. I know, I know....do I ever sleep? Not much lately.
I wanted to do the color challenge, but it hasn't been posted yet, so off I went in search of something to tickle my funny bone. I love to laugh and I have a quirky sense of humor. What I find funny.......most people might find silly. But enough about that. Back to the joke.
Here it is. I hope you find it funny.
Late one night, a man walks into a dentist's surgery and says, "Excuse me, can you help me? I think I'm a moth."
Dentist: "You don't need a dentist. You need a psychiatrist."
Man: "Yes, I know."
Dentist: "So why did you come in here?"
Man: "Well, the light was on."
See, I told you, quirky! Good night and I hope you enjoyed the joke.
