I thought it would be kind of fun to add a Friday funny to my blog so here you go:
A six-year-old boy told his father he wanted to marry the little girl across the street. The father, being modern and well-schooled in handling children, hid his smile behind his hand.
"That's a serious step," he said. "Have you thought it out completely?"
"Yes," his young son answered. "We can spend one week in my room and the next in hers. It's right across the street, so I can run home if I get scared of the dark."
"How about transportation?" the father asked.
"I have my wagon, and we both have our tricycles," the little boy answered.
The boy had an answer to every question the father raised.
Finally, in exasperation, his dad asked, "What about babies? When you're married, you're liable to have babies, you know."
"We've thought about that, too," the little boy replied.
"We're not going to have babies. Every time she lays an egg, I'm going to step on it!"
There you have it! Cute huh? I'm sure glad I don't have to have my eggs stepped on!!!!
Now on to stamping! The limited supply challenge was to use flowers and only two embellishments. You could use as many punches as you wanted and that is how I got my fix. LOL!
I had these really nice paper lace doilies and decided to use one behind my main flower. I punched the flowers using various punches and DP(not sure where it was from because I used scraps). I chose Barely Banana For my main color because it went so well with the DP. Just one layer today. Still trying to keep it simple. The ribbon is from RibbonFX. I picked it up 50% off at Hobby Lobby yesterday! Isn't it sweet? I used gems for the flower centers just to give it some bling and added piercing along the bottom and around the main flower and lace doily. Sentiment is from Curvy Verses. This is how it turned out. I like it! How bout you?
Stamps: Curvy Verses
Paper: Barely Banana, Pretty In Pink, DP
Inks: Regal Rose
Accessories: Gems, Flower Punches, Piercing Tool, Doily, Ribbon
Tomorrow I will be scrapbooking, so I hope I have something cool to share with you. Have a great weekend!!!!
