My Punny Valentine.......

My silly little valentine! I just love a good pun! My friends and family say that I have a goofy sense of humor, and they're right. I'm just quirky and I like that about myself. Can you imagine how tickled with myself I was when I came up with this card?

Kim from Kraftin Kimmies Korner posted a sketch challenge on her blog the other day that I just had to try. She is an amazing stamper and has a wonderful blog, filled with terrific cards and scrapbook pages. I visit it almost daily. You should stop in and check it out. Any way, the wheels in my mind started turning and this is what they spun out!

Isn't Santa (Whipper Snapper) cute all dressed up for Valentine's day? I paper pieced his suit on Valentine's DP (target). I cut a slit in both pockets and his glove to insert the hearts. His beard and trimmings are done with liquid applique. I used print shop to make the "Santa's got a brand new bag" sentiment. Here is the inside of the card also done with print shop!

Pretty cute huh? I just love it when a card turns out like I planned, don't you?
