Look what I can do.....

Said just like Stuart from Mad TV. Hee, hee! I used to love watching that show and I love his character. I don't watch it while the kids are up though. It can get a litte raunchy at times if you know what I mean. Enough blabbering...on to my discovery.....

I was playing around with my Cricut again tonight(big surprise there) and was wondering to myself. "I wonder if it cuts acetate". I know there are probably others out there that have had this same thought and found out ,like I did, that it does! Hallelujah!!!! Isn't that just the coolest thing? Think of the possibilities!

Can you guess what part of this card is acetate? If you guessed the heart you would be correct. I used my George Cartridge and the heart set on size 2 with the pressure set on 5. I then stamped the sentiment with black stazon. I also cut a Pixie Pink heart using the same size setting but this time using the shadow key. The heart cut from DP (K&I Memories) is 2 1/2 size. Whaddya think? Looks pretty cool if I do say so myself.

For the background I started with some DP (Making Memories) and stamped Flourishes (Ronna Farrer) and then masked the image and stamped By Definition(SU) only on the left side. I ran a zig zag stitch around the edge.

The other items used here were ribbon, Giga Scallop Punch both circle and square, Primas, Brads and dimentionals. I really love the way this turned out.

Check out those cute little flower centers. I made those using a little punch that I picked up at Target's $1 spot. I went there looking for those cute mailboxes, but they didn't have any. Insert sad face here! Well, at least something good came out of my trip.

I have rambled on here long enough so I'm gonna go blurfing! TTFN!

This is luscious! Your colours & details are awesome. I've been thinking of getting a cuttlebug, 'cause I've heard it can cut chipboard, felt, fun foam, very thin metal... :0) Mel

Hi Becky! Wow, you're making good use of your Cricut! I think your card is fabulous! It's a great Valentines card.

I don't have a Cricut. . .I have a Craft Robo so all your tips isn't helping me i but they do give me great ideas on what I can potentially do with my Craft Robo! Thanks!

Your SBS2 sis,
