Getting ready for a baby

Gotcha! It's not my baby. It's my brother and his wife. They are having a miracle baby and he will be here soon. Like one month soon. He is a miracle because the chances that he was even conceived are astounding. My brother had a vasectomy 10 years ago (it reversed itself) and his wife had her uterus microwaved last year because she was having problems. This baby is basically implanted directly to her uterine wall. The odds against a pregnancy occurring with one of these is incredible let alone both. Today I made him a card.

Kimmie has a baby card challenge on her blog and I thought since I was gonna make one anyway why not do it now. You should check out her blog. She has a lot of eye candy there.

I bought these chipboard letters from Target in their dollar spot. They are sparkly and I luuuuuv sparkles!!! The designer paper I used was sent to me in an RAK and the stamps and ribbon are from Michael's dollar bin. Can you tell that I am a girl who likes a bargain? The card stock is Stampin Ups-Going Gray, Handsome Hunter, Certainly Celery. Pretty simple card! I made it in under eight minutes.

I'm glad I got this done early this morning because the rest of my day was very busy. I don't remember if I mentioned it, but my mom had an MRI on Tuesday. We got the results back yesterday. It showed some extensive infiltration of the Myeloma to her right Femur up close to her hip and going down about mid thigh. We met with the Radiation Oncologist today and starting tomorrow she will begin radiation again. The MRI also showed damage to the muscle so she also has an appointment with a Orthopedic doctor. Bless her heart. I can tell that she is getting tired of all this but it is necessary or she risks breaking her Femur and that would not be good . Please keep her in your prayers.

Love this card -- and yes you got me, I thought you were saying that you were have one. Sometime nieces and nephews are better you know ALL the love, but none of the responsibility.
