I'm a little slow getting going today! I started reorganizing my stamp room yesterday and didn't get it finished til today. I think I finally got it the way that I want it. It seems to have a little better flow. We'll see! I think I have arranged and rearranged it three times since moving my stuff in there. I couldn't create until it was completely finished! Remember, serious type A personality here! LOL
Emily is taking the week off to spend time with her sister, so she had Julie fill in for her. I really like the colors she chose for the color challenge. Blues and green (my favorite color). I started out by sketching my layout on my scratch paper. Then decided that Watercolor Garden would be the perfect set for my layout. I cut out the three panels first and then sponged them with Bordering Blue, Not Quite Navy and Mellow Moss. I then stamped the flower with White Pigment Ink and embossed it using Clear EP. Stamped the stem and leaf and sponged around the flower using NQN. I used a dry cloth to buff the excess ink off the flower. The background was made using White Pigment Ink and double stamping it. I really like how it turned out!
